Meet our new summer student AMIRA

This summer, we are excited to welcome Amira Elwakeel to CLSS as our summer student. Amira was born and raised in Fairmont Hot Springs. She has just finished her fourth year of studying Civil Engineering with an Energy and Environment minor at the University of Calgary. Passionate about water, Amira has pursued a variety of water-related endeavors, from working in a Hydraulic Engineering lab in Germany to studying Water Resources Engineering in Australia. Amira will be helping with data collection and compilation for our water quantity, quality and small streams projects. She will also help develop our education programs.
